FHCCS offers simple, convenient ways to enhance your knowledge of finances. We offer financial education classes at the location of your preference; whether it is an employer, school, financial institution, or place of worship.

 

To truly make a substantial impact on your finances, raise your credit score, and teach you how to get out of debt, we offer the 12 month program A.I.M. 

 

Participation in the program will result in establishing an emergency savings of $600.

Our financial education webinars occur on a regular basis throughout the week and up to 30 times per month. You can conveniently schedule to attend a short financial education webinar that will enrich and inspire you to transform your finances permanently.

If you are considering filing for bankruptcy, our bankruptcy credit counselors are ready to help you determine if this is the best course of action. The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 requires you to test to confirm your qualification for bankruptcy filing.

 

It is a requirement to go through credit counseling within 6 months of filing for bankruptcy. The agency you choose must be approved by Executive Office of the U.S. Trustees; FHCCS is an approved organization. Furthermore, bankruptcy filers are required to attend a financial education course. If you think filing for bankruptcy may be an option for you, it is mandatory to view our disclosure to begin counseling.

 

Do you have an emergency savings plan? You can begin creating your $600 emergency savings today. The A.I.M. program affords us the ability to match your savings each month, dollar for dollar (up to $25 per month).

Late fees and collection calls can be eliminated with our highly efficient debt management plans. Thankfully, our plans provide and easy and effective way to alleviate financial stress. FHCCS works with you to create a debt management plan that will help prevent further damage to your credit score and teach you how to manage your money.

 

As an NFCC Certified Credit Counselor, creditors trust us to work with clients on repaying debts. Having your debt paid completely in 3-5 years is a reality. We can show you how to get out of debt.

 

No matter what life issue has surfaced, it's important to know that relief can be attained. Loss of income or costly repairs can be unexpected and can cause a powerful impact. Regardless of the challenge, the understanding counselors at FHCCS are ready to create a plan for your financially stable future.

 

You can meet with a consumer credit counselor at your convenience either in person or over the phone. The confidential, free session lasts about 60-90 minutes; you and the consumer credit counselor will analyze your finances together and develop a budget plan of action. Obtain copies of your bill statements for your session to expedite the process.

FHCCS has been and HUD approved housing facility since 1979 and are prepared to assist you at any stage of the housing process. The counselors can help you ensure that you're ready for home ownership, prepare a budget, keep away from predatory lending practices, and develop a plan to keep the home of your dreams. 

Many students and young graduates deal with the burden of significantly high student loans. Amassing $25,000 or even $250,000 in student loans is an issue many are facing. Often times, students and grads are not well informed of the loan repayment options available to them. FHCCS certified student loan counselors have already helped so many people develop a plan for getting out of student loan debt that works.
